Here is the list of the 19th Commemoration of the Genocide against Tutsi accross the world, it will be updated as soon possible. We will probably forgot some commemorations, so we are sorry :(

Organisers of Walk To Remember are projecting that this year’s event will draw millions of Rwandans since it will be held on both district and national level.

It is the first time ‘Walk To Remember’ is being held at both local and national level. The event, signified by a walk is organised to pay tribute to the over a million Rwandans who were killed in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

The walk is championed by Peace and Love Proclaimers (PLP) and the National Commission for the Fight against Genocide (CNLG) and it will be held under the theme; “Remember, Honour and Rebuild.”

In partnership with the Embassy of Rwanda in Washington, D.C., the Rwandan Community in the USA is pleased to invite you to the 19th National Commemoration of the Rwandan Genocide. In addition to Mr. Kizito Kalima’s and Tabitha Mugenzi’s survivors’ testimonies and other memorial activities, this commemoration program will feature Ms. Patricia Crisafilli as the keynote speaker. Ms. Crisafulli is the co-author with Andrea Redmond of Rwanda, Inc.: How a Devastated Nation Became an Economic Model for the Developing World (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2012 and of a 2011 Gold Medal for Success and Motivation winner: Comebacks: Powerful Lessons from Leaders Who Endured Setbacks and Recaptured Success on Their Terms. Ms. Crisafulli will present “A testimony to the resilience of the people: The interconnectedness of Rwanda’s post-genocide goals towards self-reliance.” We will also have unparalleled presentations on critical issues pertaining to the genocide.
