Akagera Aviation to open a fixed wing air school, in Rwanda

Tecnam announced today that Akagera Aviation, based at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda is establishing Flight Training Organisation with a fleet of four Tecnam aircraft.

 

In addition to its initial order for three (3) Tecnam P92JS and one four-seater P2010 SEP, Akagera Aviation are also investing one SoftekSim flight flight simulator. The simulator, manufactured by SoftekSim, with Computer Based Training software, will allow students to achieve familiarization on both P92 and P2010.

Statement from SoftekSim:

In partnership with aviation manufacturer Costruzioni Aeronautiche TECNAM S.r.l., the mayor European manufacturer of General Aviation aeroplanes, SoftekSim have signed the agreement for manufacturing of FNPTII Flight Simulation Training Device and Computer Based Training System of aircraft Tecnam P2006T / P92 / P2010 for Akagera Aviation, the company operating in Rwanda.
