Etihad Airways to start code share service between Nairobi (Kenya) and Kigali (Rwanda)?

Subject to government approval from both Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority and Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, Etihad Airways could place its EY (IATA Code) code on Kenya Airways flights between Nairobi and Kigali.
What a code share ?
Codeshare is a co-operative arrangement whereby airlines carry passengers whose tickets have been issued by another airline. The intent is to provide passengers with a wider choice of destinations than any individual airline might offer on its own.

Brussels - Kigali - Brussels
Air Canada, RwandAir, US Airways, Lufthansa, United Airlines operated by Brussels Airlines.
Amsterdam - Kigali - Amsterdam
