RwandAir announced today on its Facebook and Twitter pages, that it has choose  Alkym Management and Control System  for aircraft maintenance.

Statement from Alkym :

Yet another flag carrier has selected Alkym Management and Control System for Aircraft Maintenance to manage their modern growing fleet. RwandAir recently selected Volartec as their preferred provider after a rigorous selection process.  

With their fleet being modernized and expanded over the past 12 months Rwandair took the opportunity to examine how they could best manage those assets. The process of inviting 10 software providers to tender for the provision of services was undertaken post an initial market review.

John Barry, SVP Business Development with Volartec who visited with the RwandAir selection committee in Kigali to finalize the agreement stated that “working with RwandAir is yet another opportunity to show the market that forward thinking progressive carriers that take the time to examine the options can get market leading software at a realistic price.  The recent release of Alkym version 5.3 with its many new developments is just another step to ensure we tick every box in the requirement list.”
