THY Crew Training team has trained 77 RwandAir crew for A330 services as part of refreshment course, in August 2017. Back in March another team has trained 51 crew member.

 

 

Turkish Airlines cabin supervisors train refreshing cabin crews in Rwanda Airlines. THY Flight Training Headquarters, acting on the request for training from Rwanda Airlines, sent two experienced cabin trainers to this country. Instructors trained 51 Rwanda Airlines cabin officers in the capital Kigali on 20-29 March 2017. These trainings were attended by the Rwandan Civil Aviation authorities and Rwandair Education Director and instructors. Following the training in March, a renewal training is given to 77 cabin officers for Airbus A330 aircraft again on 01-18 August 2017.

Turkish Airlines eases travel for Rwandan traders

Turkish Airlines has offered to give preferential rates to Rwandan traders to ease their movement to Turkey to explore business opportunities.

 

The deal, dubbed “Corporate Premium Programme Agreement,” was signed, yesterday, during a meeting between members of the Rwandan private sector and a visiting delegation of 30 business executives from Turkey.

 

Speaking during the meeting, Stephen Ruzibiza, the chief executive of Private Sector Federation, said the partnership was another great move that would allow Rwandans to explore business opportunities in Turkey and would bolster economic ties between the two countries.

Turkish Airlines becomes the official carrier for Team Rwanda Cycling

Team Rwanda Cycling has secured a long term partnership deal with Turkish Airlines as the official carrier of the national cycling team.

 

Accustomed to competing in over 10 international events annually, the national cycling team will benefit from a 40% discount on each ticket and a waiver on all luggage including bikes for the cyclists and incoming equipment from sponsors abroad.

 

The country manager of Turkish Airlines Burcin Isler told Times Sport that, “We are proud to be in partnership with Team Rwanda because we want to collaborate with the best sport in this country and actually help them reduce their costs which will in turn assist them to meet other expenses.”

 

According to the Director of Marketing and Logistics Kimberly Coats, Team Rwanda has spent up to $61,500 in air tickets and $7000 this year on bike fees as luggage for the cyclists who competed at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, the UCI U-23 World Championships in Spain, Swiss Epic, Tour de Blida in Algeria and Tour du Congo among others.
