Etihad Airways and Kenya Airways expand partnership (Code Share) to Kigali, from 01 July 2013

Kenya Airways suspended flights to Abu Dhabi, this week. Etihad removed one its code share flight, between Kigali and Nairobi.
According to Amadeus (03 APR 2013), from 01 JUL 2013 , Etihad Airways will start a code share service between Nairobi and Kigali. Flights will be operated by Kenya Airways, but Etihad will enable to sell tickets. In February, we announced that Etihad plannes to expand code share service to Kigali (HERE).

What a code share ?
Codeshare is a co-operative arrangement whereby airlines carry passengers whose tickets have been issued by another airline. The intent is to provide passengers with a wider choice of destinations than any individual airline might offer on its own
You can notice that timetable shown below makes ''no sense''. This timetable enables to passengers to have a better connection on a daily Etihad Airways flight Abu Dhabi Nairobi Abu Dhabi, but also on the Kenya Airways Abu Dhabi Nairobi Abu Dhabi weekly service.
