For the third year in row, the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) has published its Statistical YearBook. This edition shows data for 13 fields, including Air Transport.

For 2012 :

New Airlines & Destinations : Doha (Qatar Airways), Istanbul (Turkish Airlines) and Johannesburg (South African Airways)

Others Majors Events : RwandAir adds CRJ-900NGs, Bombardier promotional tour in Rwanda with the Dash Q400,  expension works began on Kigali and Kamembe airports.

For 2013 :

New Airlines & Destinations : FastJet (Tanzania confirmed), Cairo (EgytpAir planned for 2011, still in project in April 2012) and new RwandAir destinations.

Others Majors Events : works should start at Bugesera for the new airport, and expension at Kigali Kanombe should be completed.
